Not long ago, we announced that the two of us were partnering for our first joint real estate deal. Picking up on that conversation, we wanted to let you know how everything is going so far, what progress has been made, how we structured the deal, what level of investment we each brought to the table, and how we made this happen in the first place – getting a loan without W2s is not easy! 

We also go over all of the improvements we’re planning to make to the property and how those fit into our overall strategy. We’re excited to continue updating you on these important developments and provide an inside look at first-time real estate owners figuring it all out as they go.

Last week we went down south, this week we're heading north to Ontario, Canada! Get ready for some super cozy vibes! This gorgeous space features not one, but two fireplaces, and they do an amazing job highlighting them in their listing.

They use the term, "Rustic Luxury" in their listing, and what a perfect way to capture the essence of their space and let potential guests know exactly what to expect! Be intentional in your copywriting!

We also love how they toggle between interior and exterior shots on their instagram to really show people the entirety of the property and what they can expect by staying there!

We’ve stayed at at least twenty hotels and short-term rentals over the past year and we always come away with new takeaways each time. Today, we share those insights with you. Most of them are simple, immediately actionable, and affordable to implement. Let’s not overthink it!

It’s time for #strsharesunday and today we are sharing Who You're With! Their tagline is, "the vacation rentals that remind you what matters most is who you're with," which is painted in their mural in their space and could not be more fitting for the holiday season.

We're starting to see more and more that people are really paying attention to amenities. This space has a peloton (perfect for people who are working and working out from home) which was highlighted in all of their reviews. They also cater to bachelorette parties and they have "makeup bars" in the home: multiple places to get ready for a night on the town! And if that wasn't enough, there are multiple "instagrammable" areas in the home with gorgeous murals, both inside and outside.

They know who their ideal client is and they've really nailed it! We love to see hosts stepping it up a notch. Give them a follow to get a taste of the great work they're doing! Well done!
