It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing MI Home Away!
Eric and Liz are new to hosting, but they are already crushing it! (Have you been listening to the pod for awhile, Eric and Liz)?
We feel so drawn to this all-seasons cottage, located on a 10 acre plot of land in Michigan. We love what they've done with their instagram: they have taken you through the renovation of the space, they have their reviews, they have great shots of their rental, and what is available around town to do or to eat.
We love that they've woven in who they are as hosts, the town they are located in, and they have incorporated color beautifully in their design. Just by looking at the first 5 photos on their listing, we're sold. We're ready to come visit, and I bet you will be too!
Oh, and it's pet friendly too! We love to see the pups!

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Coastal Cedar Sanctuary!
We never knew how much we wanted to go to Rockaway Beach, Oregon until checking out this space. A few things that caught our eye...
Their outdoor sauna! We're seeing more and more of these, and they're not as expensive as you might think! A hot tub is kind of an old school amenity, but it seems like the sauna is the new kid on the block.
We also love that in their listing, they used four different perspectives of why someone may be visiting: whether you're visiting with your girls for a girls-only getaway, a romantic getaway with your special someone, a fishing trip with the guys, or a family trip with the kids, they painted such a wonderful picture and showed how their space is perfect for anyone. Well done! Go give them some love on the 'gram!

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Far Out Cottage.
This rental is aptly named because it is indeed Far Out! Check out their instagram and their airbnb listing! This 1940s cottage is located right outside of Portland and has kept a lot of that historic charm. The tile in the bathroom is pink and mint green, the kitchen is like stepping into a 1950s time capsule, the furniture is from the 1960s... we just love the vintage charm!
But what we really love is that host Annie is upfront and transparent about it being a vintage space. Her guests know before they book what to expect.
This is such a cute, colorful, unique space!
Remember listeners: if you buy that property that has a ton of historic charm, don't fight it! Don't think you have to modernize it all the time, and Far Out Cottage is a perfect example of how!

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Stay with Sebrell!
This adorable cottage has amazing color throughout. We love the cool wall hangings in the property that actually recommend places to go for brunch, lunch, dinner, etc. These round, beaded chalkboards are such a fun way to incorporate recommendations into the decor!
Sebrell is also a realtor and she has it right there in her bio. We're starting to see this more and more, and we love it. if you have your full-time job, whatever that may be, and you're also a host, there are so many ways to incorporate that into your listing. Whether a photographer, stager, interior designer, realtor, massage therapist, whatever! Your guest might want to know what else it is you do and may want to work with you!

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Getaway Upstate.
We really want to highlight the digital real estate here! Be sure to check out their direct booking site... especially their blog! They have a lot of great information on their blog for potential guests: best restaurants, best wine shops, best local grocery stores, best local hikes, best local breakfast spots, etc!
We love how they have all of that valuable info on their site, and they also link to all the places where you can book and follow them online. You can book directly, but you can also book on AirBnB an VRBO. Most of all.... they have a place where you can sign up for their newsletter! Crucial!
All of this might seem overwhelming, but you don't have to do it all at once. Try to improve your digital real estate a little bit each month, and if you don't know what to do, Getaway Upstate is a superb example! Oh and... their space is gorgeous! How about that green accent wall!?
It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing the Winona House! This beautiful space is located in Roanoke, Virginia.
Here's what we love about them: it's a full home that is listed as a boutique hotel. You can rent the home in its entirety or rent one of the 4 units. This is a great reminder that you don't have to think of a property as one unit. You can diversify or break it down and remix it if it seems too large. Go check out their listings to get some inspo on how they've done it!
They've kept a lot of the old-world charm in this historic home while keeping up with modern conveniences and we would love to come stay (let's rent the whole dang thing!)

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Lakeview Landing!
We are heading back to the basics this year, and Lara and Bill are absolutely CRUSHING it. When you go to their instagram, they are giving you everything: the interior, the exterior, reviews, their story, still photos, reels, you name it! They are giving you a holistic, well-rounded view of their space.
They are also slaying the direct booking game! They take you directly to their website to book directly. All of their spaces look over Lake Lanier and they are absolutely spectacular.

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Island in this Dream! Scott and Kirby are your hosts, and this was their very first short-term rental, but we want to give them a huge shoutout here because they are about to open their second! We want to celebrate Scott + Kirby just going after it, growing their STR business, and maintaining their 5 star reviews across the board.
So what do we love about this space? They are very clear in the weight limits for their bunk beds and informing their guests accordingly. They have a beautiful, well-designed space with a bright, airy, open concept. It's easy to see where those 5 star reviews come from! We can't wait to come stay with you!

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Pines Edge!
Last week we went down south, this week we're heading north to Ontario, Canada! Get ready for some super cozy vibes! This gorgeous space features not one, but two fireplaces, and they do an amazing job highlighting them in their listing.
They use the term, "Rustic Luxury" in their listing, and what a perfect way to capture the essence of their space and let potential guests know exactly what to expect! Be intentional in your copywriting!
We also love how they toggle between interior and exterior shots on their instagram to really show people the entirety of the property and what they can expect by staying there!
We can't wait to snuggle up by the fire at Pines Edge!

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Las Terrazas! Andrea and her wife live in NYC and they are the hosts of this beautiful property in their native Puerto Rico.
There is so much to look at in their listing. They've done an amazing job in their copy (and this is something we haven't talked about in a long time. Maybe we can do an episode on it, what do you think?)... so much so that we are ready to pack up and go visit RIGHT NOW. Read through the way they describe every magical part of their property and the way they explain their neighborhood and what to expect.
Their photos tell such a beautiful story of all the unique nooks and crannies of their home. They show people eating at the table, working on a laptop at the desk, sitting in the hot tub, and reading in the reading nook to help you envision your own stay there. The custom paint is beautiful and the way they have styled the photos with guests in them is so well done and so unique! We'd love to be able to...
