Sophia and Ashley are the hosts of this beautiful circa 1787 inn. We LOVE their story! From high school besties to college besties at Boston University to roommates in NYC... to hosting biz besties! We love to see it!

Their experience in fashion and design really shines through in this historic inn. The photos are just so lovely! We just can't stop staring at their gorgeous exposed wooden beams. The attention to detail and the mix of old and new have been woven with the utmost care.

Carrie and Felipe, can we be friends with you?

These Canadian ex-corporate-executives-turned-hospitality-gurus buy old ski chalets and they rehab them themselves along with their two fur babies.

Their places are top notch . You can tell they put the utmost care into the construction and the redesign, and they really have their guest at the forefront of everything that they do.

But please, check them out. I mean, you are going to want to go stay at their places, all of their photography on their Instagram account is great. You can so many guest photos in there, and so you really can picture yourself at the property.

We know a lot of times we get really heavy sometimes with just interior photos, but not really seeing the way that the property is used, and we believe that if you can show humans in your space in a way that helps them really envision themselves there and how they would use it is a great way to invite...

Public service announcement to all of you short-term rental hosts out there....Whitney, love your account! But one of the things we love the most is in Whitney's instagram bio, she has, 'not seeking collabs at the moment,' and we respect that!

We bet Whitney was being bombarded (hosts..maybe you are too!) with potential collabs from influencers that would like to stay for free in exchange for photos or a shout out on their page. We respect that she is putting that there because we venture to guess that a lot of time and energy is going into maybe some not-so-fruitful collabs.

So hosts, we just want to take this time for a PSA to really vet those collaborations. They can be...ego-boosting.... in the beginning, but we just want to remind you, you've got to make sure that both of you are getting results there, and you need to have a clear definition of what you want that to result in for yourself. One of the most notable things we want to highlight is how they've utilized the space in this dome and how they've broken it up and have their sitting area, their bedroom, and their kitchen area.

We've been getting a lot of emails lately about from hosts who feel like they're not getting booked as often as they were. So here's the deal: you've going to be competitive, and the best way to do that is to sell your property through your photos.

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Two Bay Stay

Kara, you're crushing it And we were just at the same event. I don't know if we crossed paths, but hosts, do yourself a favor, go check out Kara's property.

These homes are beautifully designed! There is a fine, fine line between being well-designed and over-designed, and Kara has nailed it. They are curated enough where you can tell the amount of thought and effort went into them without being *too much,* you know? She has some amazing wallpaper in multiple places, and Kara, we need to know about your gorgeous plants! Are they real or fake?

We love the coffee station with the cups hanging from hooks on the wall, we love the bucket list, and we REALLY love the vinyl and cocktail corner. So she has vinyl records as art on the wall, on shelves, and then a little cocktail station, which is genius. They were voted and featured on Travel Guide Asheville as one of the best vacation rentals. Here's the deal with this, everybody. This is GENIUS. We don't know if they wrote in or if they were nominated, but you have to go after that PR because it can be a game-changer!

That travel guide has 73,000 followers on Instagram!

And however Maria and Omar got on that guide, we're sure they are going to get some direct bookings from guests that saw their property on that travel guide. So if you haven't reached out to a local travel blogger, a local travel guide, put that on your list of things to do for this year. You've got to do your own PR. You just can't sit back and wait for it!

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Glenaire Cottages!

There's so much we can say about this one, but we'll try to keep it brief!

1. You can stay at their place and see koalas. YES. KOALAS. We could just, mic drop there because we're imagining sitting on the deck and seeing a koala. That's five stars right there

2. They use this one account to highlight all five of their cottages, and all the different experiences that you can have in their one property.

3. The next thing is they've done a really great job showing off their outdoor hot tubs. They've built them more into the ground, so they feel more native to the environment. And a part of the experience is having to climb in and they've built decks around them. So cool!

This post simply does not do this property justice, so iff you're ever in Australia, look them up. We're just super pumped about their property, the koalas and other wildlife, and how they show it all off on their instagram account!

Jen and Tim are members in our membership and their rental is located on Martha's Vineyard, and we love that Jen did a reel on their instagram on how to shuck an oyster , and we've never really seen a food tutorial on someone's STR account, and we LOVE this. If there's a food or kind of cuisine that is native to your area that your guests may be enjoying whether they dine out or dine in, highlight it! It's also a great way for your followers to connect with you as a host.

So food tutorials? GENIUS! Such a great idea for content to share on your account.

Oh and Jen... we love your cleaning reels too, girl! As fellow hosts, we love it, but as potential guests, we love to see a host getting into the details of keeping their space clean!
