One thing that we love about their feed is that there are so many photos of people enjoying the space. Sometimes, we have all these photos that we took during the photo shoots of getting the listing up and running, but being able to envision yourself in the space is really, really important. Monique and Jason have done an amazing job of not only showing people in the property, but also the landscapes around the property.

They are pet friendly, so there are a lot of pets throughout the photos. (dog lovers... don't you want to bring your pup there?) They also offer dog shampoo! If you take your pup on the hike...

Here are a few things that we LOVE about this incredible space:

1. They have what we call a "brag bar." When you go to their Airbnb listing, you can see where they've added a section to show what they've been featured in, awards they've won, designed by, etc. This lets potential guests know that they were featured in as best wedding venue in Joshua Tree in January of 2023 and shows all the awards they've won!

You'll see this a lot on websites where they'll say, featured in X, Y, Z magazine or on this television show. Put it in your Airbnb listing!

2. They offer free EV charging! We really think this is going to become more and more important as we roll into the future. So, if you are looking for a way to potentially stand out in a sea of listings and you know that someone might be traveling to your home with an electric car, that might be the reason they choose you!

This 1930s cabin is located in Crestline, California.

We love that they have not one, but TWO original fireplaces: one in the main gathering area, and one in the primary bedroom!

We also love that in their listing, they said they take organization and aesthetics very seriously, and they show their kitchen utensils as an example. These kitchen utensils are all black (and they are super chic!) We love how they've woven this in: remember... you CAN make things organized, practical, AND aesthetically pleasing!

Finally, we love how nicely they've used the mirrors in their home to take reflections of what else is in the room. It's a really different, artistic way of showcasing their space!

Amanda and Nathan host this gorgeous spot in Tennessee!

A few things we want to point out

This is a family friendly rental! They have some great games of all shapes and sizes to play. They have foosball, air hockey, some arcade games, and a giant Connect 4 set! Games like this can be fun for children and adults alike and are super interactive!

We love the amazing decals on their stairs. It's a little design element that just shows the guests that you're paying attention, that you're into design. And also it's probably a safety feature too, giving you a little bit of a contrast to the stairs and getting up there!

Amanda writes handwritten notes to all of her guests, and we absolutely just adore that.

It's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Riverside Retreat

First of all, go check out their instagram feed because they have some SERIOUSLY amazing reels.

One of them is basically screen sharing their listing as well as other Airbnb listings in their area, and we thought it was a really genuine way to showcase themselves and other hosts! It's essentially taking all of the photos and giving someone a very concise feel of their listing of what they would see on Airbnb.

Another thing that they did that was lovely (and we want to encourage everyone to take inspiration from them) is they have a reel all about small businesses in their community! They've screenshotted their best coffee shops and basically made a call-to-action to guests to visit their favorite hidden gems and small businesses in the city. We love businesses supporting businesses

They also ask those small businesses in the area that might want to partner with them to reach out. This is someone's dream to...

First of all, we want to give a shoutout to their dog, Luna, who is all over their instagram

One thing that we love about their instagram feed is the cadence: they have reviews, reels of the area, action shots of what you can do at their home, etc. They do a really great job of diversifying the kind of content on their social media.

They're also getting ready to build three places on the property, and we love the teasing and foreshadowing they do of what they have coming up soon! In their bio, they have a call-to-action of "book directly and save." Give your guests a reason! Why book direct? You can save money!

eIt's time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing Waddington Flats

These flats are located in Victoria, BC, and we a. love that they have direct booking site linked in their instagram bio and b. that on that website, there is an option to watch a video tour, right there above the fold! This video tour looks like it was professionally done, because it's so top-notch!

We think that video is going to be HUGE int he future for short-term rentals and vacation rentals, and what better way to really show potential guests your space!? So, dear readers, this is your sign to incorporate more video into your digital real estate!

As far as design goes, we LOVE what they're doing here. We love the pops of color, the grandma chic wallpaper of one of the flats (Sarah is a huge fan)! And we also love that they have really diversified the style of each flat and showcasing many different design styles and themes!

This GORGEOUS treehouse is located in Lake Mitchell, Alabama.

We're gonna start with the front door. Look at the amazing light fixture and custom welcome sign! Remember... the front door is the first thing your guests see, so take this as a sign to get out there and freshen up yours to have it looking good for your guests!

Second, they have some incredible views. Their decks are perched among the trees and the views of the water from them are just spectacular. We even love the swings and swinging chairs! You can tell they put a lot of time and thought into the design and the details of this space.

There are so many unique things about this rental, so definitely go check them out and give them some love!

These views This gorgeous spot is located in Carbondale, Colorado, which is between Aspen and Snowmass, and it's been a LONG time since we've seen a listing with views like this, and Aldana does an amazing job highlighting it on their insta!

Show the people what they want. Show the people why they need to stay. We kept scrolling through because we wanted to wake up here, drink coffee here, sit on the deck and watch the stars here, read a book and take in the views here, you name it.

The view alone is enticing us to stay at their property! So hosts, find that THING about your property and let it shine. Rinse and repeat. Let people know what's special about your property, and don't be scared to show it off over and over again!
