It’s time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing The Chal-A!

This Stratton, VT a-frame is just beautiful. It's very well branded. It's a vibe. You can tell right when you visit their instagram. We know what we're going to feel when we walk in, snd the vibe we're going to have when we're there. We love all the natural sunlight, and all the snowy pictures. We know that when winter comes around, this is the place to BE!

They've done a really good job of infusing photos and reels throughout their feed.

They also have a vintage Kohler trough-style three-bay utility sink. I think they found it at the dump, but I'm going to tell you, this thing is amazing! It has three faucets, and it is absolutely gorgeous. We haven't seen that anywhere before. Well done! I think we need to hear more of the story on that.

The outdoor area is great. Fall is here, and winter is coming, snd this just looks like an awesome place to be!

This gorgeous spot makes us not want to say goodbye to summer *quite* yet.

First, we LOVE the logo! It's so cute!

Second... there are NO RUGS in this unit! And it's actually... genius? For a beach rental! Not only have you eliminated the issue of sand that never seems to come out of the carpets, but you've also eliminated the trip and fall danger and made the home just a little more accessible.

The floors throughout are beautiful and there are really nice pops of color throughout the space (we're obsessed with that pink!). It just makes you feel like you'd be so happy and cheerful while staying there! It's so bright and so clean! Take us to the beach!

It’s time for #strsharesunday! Today we are sharing the Idyll House

We LOVE the cozy, moody vibe on the 'gram! It makes us dream of fall! But what we really want to talk about are the two things they do in their highlights:

1. They showcase their reviews, and they actually say, hey, this is exactly what David said, Kevin said, Michelle said... they really make it personal! These guests are real people who you can like, know, and trust.

2. They tell their backstory from their first visit. It's in Sugarloaf, California, which is Big Bear, and she just talks about her first trip there. And it took years to purchase this property, but it goes through the whole story of the first visit to looking all over the country for short-term rentals, and then ending up there. And we know the whole story of the house now. And it probably took us 60 seconds to read, but the story helped us feel really connected to the home and their why.

Listeners, anyone can do this! Let's say it's your personal Instagram account, and you're trying to find a way, whether it's you, your life partner, your business partner, a family member wants to give you some love and share your properties... this is a one-stop shop. You can add a Linktree to your bio, and it can be there all the time. It could take people to your website, it could take them directly to your Airbnb if that's more comfortable for them, or maybe they want to go straight to Vrbo! This is a way that you can have your property out in the world all the time with a lot of different options for people to book.

Katie and Michael have done a phenomenal job with this cabin rehab! It's so gorgeous!

There are a few things we definitely want to highlight:

1. Amazing outdoor shower.

2. amazing indoor shower tile. Love the color!

3. One thing that they've done in their listing that we haven't seen very often is styling the pullout couch! They show you where the table moves to (it makes a really nice side table) and what it looks like with the sheets and blankets on it. It looks cozy and inviting... not *just another* pullout couch!

They also have before and afters, aerial views, you name it!

One last hosting hot tip for you all: in their listing photos on Airbnb, they have a first aid kit inside the bathroom in their laundry area, and have styled it so nicely! That's one of those little things when people are swiping through! When we saw that, it made us feel safe. We noticed that. And so listeners, if you don't have...

Here's a TFV first... an arch house! This super cute 1970s arch house is hosted by Alex and Erica, who are both in the graphic design world.

You have GOT to go to their feed and give them a like on all their pictures. This spot is so unique and special and we love that they have really leaned in on the uniqueness of this property. And they've done an amazing job rehabbing it! You can really tell they've put a lot of blood, sweat, tears, and money into it but it is SO worth the effort.

There are so many things we love about this property!

They've done a wonderful job of weaving in specific available dates throughout their instagram feed. We love an availability alert! It gives your audience a little nudge and sense of urgency by reminding them that the calendar is booking up soon and not to delay in booking!

So if you're looking for some ideas for content to weave in through your feed, do that every now and then! Give a specific three-night stay. Let people know! You never know... maybe it's someone's birthday or anniversary and it would be perfect for a getaway!

Another thing they weave in throughout their feed is reviews, whether they're handwritten or typed. If you're not putting guest reviews as posts... what are you waiting for?

Last but not least, it's a beautiful, beautiful place! We (well... Sarah especially) are OBSESSED with the sauna barrel!

This little 480 sq. foot tree house is so cute!

In their listing and in their social media, they show a lot of night photos, which really showcases all the windows in the structure and the super cute outdoor spaces.... especially that hot tub!

As as host, you have to know what the shining part of your property is, and how you can sell it to potential guests. We definitely would love enjoy a summer evening stay here!

So often we take pictures during the day, but always be on the lookout for ways you want to display your property.

Melinda and Matilda host Mountain Lake Bungalows and they're back at it again with their new property: @thebrooklyninn where they are doing mid-term rentals.

NYC has different rules and regulations around short-term rentals, so... mid-term rentals it is! And the Brooklyn Inn is GORGEOUS.

Melinda and Matilda are both from Sweden and do PR for Visit Sweden (huge account!) while also hosting their own properties here in the US, where they can bring that same hospitalist and guest-centered goals to their properties.
